Secretary, Alan Shepherd:-
I’m very disappointed to report that the improvements to the footways in the Terrace and Drive have been delayed again for what feels like the umpteenth time since we were first told by CEC (in 2019) that these were to be done as a “priority”.
The new date we’re being given is now April 2022 and the reason for the delay this time around is being cited as contractor availability.
I appreciate that there will be plenty of people annoyed about this, and assure you that the WRA Committee will continue to press our contacts at the Council to avoid any further delay.
