‘I would like to provide an update regarding the ongoing works on Warriston Drive and Terrace for your information and affected residents.
Unfortunately there has been a few issues encountered which have delayed the completion date to the project. Currently the contractor is completing their civils work in advance of the surfacing, and also carrying out remedial works identified by our supervising team. His work is due to be completed by the end of next week. I have discussed revised timelines with the contractor due to these delays and they have said that surfacing will commence on or around 17 August and take around two weeks to complete.
Alan Wilson our Clerk of Works for this project is due to go on annual leave for 3 weeks today, site supervision will be taken over by Ross Lillie whilst Alan is unavailable,
