I am writing to notify you that the Council has prepared a new proposed local development plan, ‘City Plan 2030’. You responded to us at the consultation stage of its preparation,Choices for City Plan 2030, and we thank you for your contribution. City Plan 2030 sets out the strategy for development, proposals and policies to shape development in the city over the next 10 years and beyond.
The City Plan 2030 Proposed Plan is accompanied by:
Environmental Report
Proposed Action Programme
Habitats Regulations Appraisal (Proposed Plan stage)
number of other technical and supporting background documents
The documents can be viewed at: www.edinburgh.gov.uk/cityplan2030
A paper copy of the proposed plan and environmental report is also available to view at local libraries and a full set of documents will be available to view in City Chambers reception, 249-253 High Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1YJ, Monday to Thursday between 9am and 5pm and Friday between 9am and 3pm.
Representations can be made on the Proposed Plan and on the Environmental Report, Action Programme, Habitats Regulations Appraisal and other supporting documents. These must be submitted in writing using the Council’s online consultation hub www.edinburgh.gov.uk/cityplanhub by5.00pm on Monday 20 December 2021.
