Annual General Meeting

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THE WARRISTON RESIDENTS’ ASSOCIAITON ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE GOLDENACRE BOWLING CLUB ON WEDNESDAY 10TH APRIL STARTING AT 7PM. WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT TICO SEIFERT WILL BE OUR GUEST SPEAKER AND ON THE CONCLUSION OF THE MEETING AND TALK, REFRESHMENTS AND SNACKS WILL BE SERVED. COMMITTEE MEMBERS WILL BE AVALABLE FOR INFORMAL DISCSSION AND RESIDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO SOCIALISE WITH THEIR NEIGHBOURS.

Local resident and guest speaker - Tico Seifert

Tico Seifert has been Senior Curator of Northern European Art at the National Galleries of Scotland since 2008. He received his PhD from Freie Universität Berlin, where he taught art history from 2003. Tico has published and lectured widely on German, Dutch and Flemish art from the 1500s to about 1900. Tico has organised exhibitions on themes ranging from 'Dürer’s Fame' (2011) and 'Dutch Mannerism' (2008) to 'Rubens & Company: Flemish Drawings from the Scottish National Gallery' (2016) and he is currently working on an exhibition of drawings from Chatsworth House, opening on 9th November 2024
